Catherine Lynn Bartholomew, J.W.
Attorney Bartholomew has a background in social work, over ten years legislative and legal background, and five years working specifically handling child physical and sexual abuse cases. Currently with the National District Attorneys association’s National Center for the Prosecution of child abuse where she is a senior attorney, she organizes national level conferences on child abuse issues; trains prosecutors, law enforcement officers, social service workers and other professionals on a wide range of child abuse topics nationwide; assists prosecutors, law enforcement officers, social service workers and other professionals with technical and strategic questions involving child abuse cases; researches current issues and trends in child abuse investigation and prosecution; publishes articles relating to current issues and trends in child abuse investigation and prosecution; and negotiates contracts for speaker services. She is a member of the bars of the state of california and lousiana, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit.

Currently, Dr. De Ferreire Kemp is the Owner, Founder, and CEO of Diversity Works! Inc. Located in Herndon, VA and Serving the Washington, DC Metro Area…Providing Strategic consulting to Government and Private Sector. She has served government clients and as a diplomat (Community Liaison Officer and Special Control Office to Former Secretary of State Warren Christopher at the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel), and other prestigious government posts. Extensive volunteer work with the Latino community in the U.S. (e.g., serving on many community Business Partnership Boards benefiting women and minorities in business).

Previously provided business consulting services (product definition, PR, marketing) to a variety of clients to increase their profitability and streamline their business development cycles, e.g., GE, CitiGroup, Xerox. Pat Lynch
35 years of experience in advertsing, media planning, marketing and public relations focusing on media and women’s issues and serving a diverse range of companies. Founder of WomensRadio, a broad-based organization to promote communication for and about women. Founder and President of Women’s Calendar, reaching 400,000 women leaders through a weekly newsletter and providing the largest listing of events for women in the world. An influential advocate for Women’s issues, Pat serves several not- for-profits benefiting women through publicity and fundraising, including Cerebral Palsy Foundation, Muscular Dystrophy, Heart Association, Fresno Habitat for Humanity and the Fresno Ballet. Currently, she is the Chair of the Media Task Force for the California Women’s Agenda, a group of some 600 women’s organizations throughout the State of California; Women’s Leadership Alliance, Bay Area Regional Action Coalition, American Women in Radio and Television, National Organization of Women, American Association of University Women, and is on the Board of Directors of the Afghan Women’s Association International.

Washington, DC. Over 15 years of experience as an international economist, project leader, and professor. Currently working as the deputy director, Office of Economics, U.S. International Trade Commission. Provides expert technical economic advice to Congress and U.S. Trade Representative on the impact of future internationla trade agreements. Highly involved in Latino social causes and has worked to mentor Latino youth including designing, instructing and facilitating a 4-week course, Latinas Learning Leadership, providing public speaking and leadership for high school girls. Served as President of HUD Toastmasters International, Vestry Board Member of Iglesia San Jose serving the Latino community, and received the Outstanding Community Service Award from Hobart and William Smith Colleges for mentoring and providng outreach to the undergraduate community. Mentored for the Borromeo Housing Program, a domestic violence support program.

Has delivered a variety of presentations and expert tesitmonies on the affects of child sexual abuse. She currently runs a private practice providing individual psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and adults with a specialization in treatment of trauma. Member of both the American and Maryland Psychological Association.

Patricia H. Troy, M.Ed., CASE, CAE, Board Chair
Over 30 years of experience as a recognized community leader and business owner focused on business development, education, nonprofit organizations and community causes. In 1980, with four other educators founded Chesapeake Academy, an independent elementary school. As an entrepreneur founded Bay Media, Inc. a publication management firm focusing on print and Web publications. Through her association management firm, Next Wave Group, LLC, Pat serves as executive director for range of nonprofit organizations. She founded FacetsWoman, a community of women offering special events, programs and activities. Pat is highly active in community work, and the founding chairman of Association for Severna Park Improvement, Renewal and Enhancement (ASPIRE, Inc). She chaired Anne Arundel County Advisory Task Force on Cancer Control and the Severna Park Small Area Plan. She also served as vice chair of the board of trustees of Anne Arundel Health System. She has recently been named to the board of directors of EDI Technologies, Inc.
